The Goddard School in Buckeye opened in August 2009 and is co-owned by Nicole & Matt Bigham and Beth & Vince Valentino.
Both originally from the Buckeye state of Ohio, the Bigham's moved to the Valley in 2002. While tracking successful careers in the fields of accounting and insurance, they decided to take a chance and become small business owners. The couple searched for an opportunity that would nurture their family, as well as the surrounding community. Establishing a Goddard School private childcare center and preschool in Verrado fit both of those goals and more. As residents of Verrado since 2011, they enjoy the small town perks, such as walking their children to The Goddard School every day, & seeing other Goddard families around town.
ABOUT US
The Valentino's moved to Verrado with their son, Zachary, from the Cleveland area in 2010. Having owned a Goddard School previously in Ohio, they understand the value of a high quality early childhood education, and are excited to bring these efforts to Verrado residents, including their own grandchildren.
As the school has grown, the Bigham's & Valentino's continue to give back to the community in many ways by supporting Verrado's Giving Tree, Make-A-Wish Arizona, Phoenix Children's Hospital, Horses Help, and many others. The SEED scholarship program is another way local individuals and businesses can help our school give back to the local community and its children.
